After qualifying from the University of Birmingham, Judith began her career in hospitals working in Oral Surgery Units. The work in these years provided great experience in many different aspects of dentistry including serious trauma and oral surgery. However, the hours and regular moves between roles were not conducive to family life and so she moved into General Dental Practice in the late 1980s. Judith came to Marlborough and the Savernake Forest Dental Practice in 1990.
Judith is a people person, who enjoys meeting and getting to know her patients, believing that good care involves the whole person and not just their teeth. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and likes to provide high quality dental care for her patients with a strong emphasis on prevention. In particular Judith has a special interest in the treatment of nervous patients, and minimally invasive aesthetic and restorative dental care.
In recent years she has been appointed a Foundation Dentist Trainer and finds great satisfaction professionally and personally in mentoring these talented and bright young Dentists starting out on their careers.
Judith has very close ties to the town of Marlborough personally as well as professionally. She lives in the town and her children were born and grew up here attending the local schools. She continues to be very involved in many aspects of the local community. For relaxation she enjoys walking her dog around the local area, cooking, music, travel (when she is able) and she recently took up running (slowly) to keep fit.
