Sharmila Khopade is a confident health care professional offering over 8 years of experience in carrying out various dental procedures. She works as a general dentist with a special interest in gum care, performing various gum surgeries.
She has completed her post-graduate studies from one of the finest Dental school in India: Nair hospital Dental College with top ranking and holding a merit certificate from the University. She is an author of the book “Obesity: A modifier for periodontal tissue healing in postmenopausal women” She has presented regionally, nationally and internationally on a range of Periodontal therapy-related topics and has published papers in several peer-reviewed dental journals. She is actively involved in various research projects having many research articles to her credit.
Sharmila has expertise in periodontal plastic procedures including soft and hard tissue surgeries, correction of gummy smiles, treating depigmentation on gums and non-surgical management of medically compromised patients.
Sharmila is very passionate about her work and absolutely empathetic towards her patients. In her free time she loves to read, travel and help the needy in improving their oral health.
